Water Project Complete!

We are excited that the Water Project for El Gucamayo has been fully funded ($15,000) and is now providing fresh running water for the 270 people of this village in Huite, Guatemala.

In 2015 Susan was part of an Operation Baby Rescue Trip in Guatemala.  After seeing the devastating impact that the lack of clean water and nutrition brings, she left this beautiful country committed to doing her part to help in whatever small way she could.  Partnering with World Help was easy after witnessing the incredible work taking place through their partner, Hope of Life, to rescue and provide continued support to these children and their families. Together, we were able to raise $6,000 to rescue 5 of these precious babies!

In 2016 Ron had the opportunity to visit Guatemala. He was able to travel to some of these remote villages and learned that by providing clean water we can build a preventative step in these babies needing to be rescued.  A Village Transformation also provides a school and potential church building which can assist in not only the physical, but spiritual care of the Village.  

Thank you for providing Food to the village!

This year has brought a tremendous drought to the region and the crops for this community are under threat of loss.

We were able to help supplement each household of the village (40 homes) with 2 food bags. Each food bag provided flour, beans, rice, corn, etc. which to our understanding, will last for 3 weeks for the household.

We completed this project at the first of the year with delivery of the food bags in January 2019.

We are now determining the next Phase of the Village Transformation

We will be raising funds to help repair the school, bathrooms and retaining wall.
